Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation. Hebrews 1:14 NLT
An Angel is a supernatural spiritual being who, according to various religions, is God’s servant.
Angels are neither born nor die, they are a separate entity, a separate order from humans. Angels, in turn, cannot become human. For when the dead rise, they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. In this respect they will be like the angels in heaven. Matthew 22:30 NLT.
What is the 1st thing you imagine when you hear the word Angels? Do you imagine that Angels have wings and fly around. Did you know that the Bible speaks of many different types of Angels and of their duties? Let’s see what the Bible teaches us about Angles.
As we study the Word of God, we learn that the Lord’s Angles were with God as He was creating the Heavens and Earth. Who else was God talking to as He created the sixth day? Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” Genesis 1:26 NLT.
The Bible mentions angels over 300 times, so why do we still know so little about them? We know that there are millions upon millions of angels, yet we only know three of their names — Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer the fallen angel.
In conclusion: I have only given you just a small glance into the study about Angels. I would encourage you to study more about Angels. Study God’s Word and keep your eyes focused on Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
